Practice Nurses

Our Practice Nurses cover many areas of nursing practice including women’s health, pap smears, men’s health, infection control, chronic disease management including cardiovascular, asthma, diabetes, immunisations, maternal and child health, health promotion, wound managements, suturing, illness prevention and much more.

They work closely with our General Practitioners to tailor and implement personalised care plans for our patients while assisting you to improve your health outcomes.

Our practice nurses are a vital part of Botany Medical Centre’s health care initiative, assisting you and our medical practitioners in your general health and wellbeing.

Sandra Geddes (RN)

With over 35 years of nursing experience, Sandy is a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care. She has extensive expertise in oncology and complex care, having supported patients through some of the most challenging phases of their health journeys. Sandy’s professional interests span across women’s health, geriatric care, and paediatrics, reflecting her commitment to supporting individuals across all stages of life. Her broad clinical background, combined with her empathetic approach, makes her a valued member of our practice.

Menchie Mesa RN

Ms Menchie Mesa is a dedicated nurse who graduated from Western Sydney University in 2017, also holding a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care.

She is passionate about patient advocacy and is especially committed to promoting and advocating for childhood immunisations. Her key interest includes wound care, travel vaccinations, iron infusion and cervical screening

She strives to deliver holistic, person-cantered care and empower patients through education and preventative health.
